About Me

Hi, I’m Andy Jones — a 3× Microsoft MVP for Intune & Microsoft 365 (2022–2026) with 29+ years in IT, most of that time at BT. For the past nine years, I’ve worked as a Microsoft Technical Architect in the M365 Modern Endpoint Management Cloud practice.

I’ve worn a lot of hats over the years: developer, consultant, engineer, and architect. In the early days I built software and delivered large‑scale infrastructure projects, including playing a key role in developing my company’s intranet services. Along the way I’ve also shipped iOS apps, written automated trading software, and run an online store—experiments that keep my hands close to the tech and my brain in builder‑mode.

    Strategy, design, and delivery across Windows, Android, and iOS, with a focus on secure, scalable, and automated deployments.

    Identity, security, and productivity—aligning platform capabilities, Cloud and AI adoption for business outcomes.
  • Community
    I share designs, scripts, and guidance for SMBs and Enterprises adopting modern management and cloud governance.

Community & Content

During lockdown I co‑founded a YouTube channel called GetModern—now renamed to CloudManagement.Community which now has over 16k subscribers. The channel complements my blog here with:

  • Cloud adoption sessions
  • Product and feature updates and walkthroughs
  • Community events
  • Guest speakers and practitioner roundtables

The aim is simple: build a collaborative community of cloud professionals and make modern management practical.
