Hi I’m Andy Jones and a Microsoft MVP for Enterprise Mobility (2022-2023). I have over 25 years experience with IT working for BT Enterprise. For the last few years I have been a Microsoft Technical Architect working within the M365 Modern Desktop services Cloud practice. Prior to that I worked across various technical teams and technologies developing, managing and consulting. From the early days I have experience with software development and large scale infrastructure projects and played a key role in developing my company’s intranet services. Along my route I have developed iOS Apps, written automated trading software and managed an online store.
I currently live in Hertfordshire but love to travel when ever possible. Football used to be a big passion of mine but nowadays to keep fit I can more regularly be found in a cold field in the early mornings doing circuit training or running.
I started a new youtube Channel called GetModern (Now renamed to CloudManagement.Community) during COVID lockdown with an ex-work colleague Dean Ellerby which complements my blog posts and includes cloud adoption sessions, product updates, community events and guest speakers. Ultimately we are creating a collaborative community of Cloud professionals.
